And the American students? What is dating like in the US? When did you start dating? What do you do on dates?

Dating?

Our French text talks about le couple in France. The article suggests that dating is not at all the same in France as we know it in America. In the U.S., adolescents start pairing off and going to the movies, restaurants, bowling, etc. around 16 years of age, whereas French ados tend to go out in a group, even though they may have a girlfriend or boyfriend in that group. We also read that there is a lot of sparring that goes on between a guy and a girl in a French couple and adds interest to the relationship. Hmm... So here are some more questions for you.
